He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB), Lean Six Sigma Sensei (CLSSS), Customer Satisfaction Expert Witness and Customer Satisfaction measurement expert with more than thirty years of experience in the Continuous Improvement arena spanning countless industries, including:Consumer Package Goods, Retail, Automotive, Healthcare, Publications/Media, Government, Banking/Finance, Insurance, Non-profits, Real Estate, Telecommunications, Consumer Electronics, Airlines and many more.
Charles Shillingburg is an expert in Continuous Improvement in the Service area. Building on Lean Six Sigma manufacturing approaches and his experience in Corporate Development at Noxell Corporation and J.D. Power & Associates, he developed the Interim Outcomes, Total Brand Approach that is a comprehensive, flexible and adaptable approach to Brand (and organizational) development and success. This approach has been successfully utilized, since 1994, by Nissan and Infiniti divisions of Nissan North America to measure performance, identify Root Causes and improve business performance in its Retail Sales and Service Divisions, as well as their Consumer Affairs and Finance divisions.
Charles Shillingburg holds a Masters in International Management (MBA) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, continually rated the number one international business graduate school by US News and World Report.
